Timothy James Elsdon

Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, in his 67th year.

Beloved husband of Christine Elsdon. Loving father of Melissa (Nathan), Vanessa (Jonathan) and Tara (Colin). Grampa to Sophie, Charlotte, Stella, Jackson, Cohen, Caleb and Victoria. Brother to Cindy (Eric), Kathy (Ralph) and Andrew (Avery). The eldest son of the late Jim and Winn Elsdon. His extended family and many friends (you know who you are) will dearly miss him.

Born in Sweetsburg (Cowansville), Quebec,  Tim and his family enjoyed spending summers at their cottage on Lake Memphremagog, before settling in Midland in 1974, raising a family and getting involved in the marine industry through Grew Boats and Europe Upholstering. Tim and his family spent a brief time in Nanaimo, BC, prior to returning to Midland, where they remained until his passing.

Tim will always be remembered for his fascination and vast knowledge of motor vehicles. He loved road trips, travel, helping his family with home projects and sharing wonderful tales. He had many other interests, but we will remember him for loving his family the most.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends and family are welcome to join us for a celebration of Tim’s wonderful life on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, 925 Midland Point Road, Midland, ON from 1-4pm.
