I'm so sorry to hear of Tim's passing.   He was part of a group of friends I hung out with in the mid 80's.   He was a great guy, trustworthy and kind.  I have not seen him in over 35 years but I remember how fun he was to be around.   And yes, the singing!   Rest in peace, dear friend.
Thinking about my little brother Tim (Timmy) is something I do extremely often. Wishing, thinking, wondering and missing. Memories flood back of our childhood, and how he made us laugh and how much we ALL loved, and still love him. I love my brother, and the ache in my heart and spirit is sometimes literally wrenching. I so wish with all of my heart he had truly realized his value, his worth and his meaning to us ... to me. So much unsaid, to many bad memories for him and therefore communication was so difficult. His childhood, was my childhood as well,  So I do understand, I wish he had given me the chance to really communicate that I understood more than he ever realized, that opportunity was never there, because it could never be discussed. No questions, meant no answers ... lost opportunities ... but I could not, and would not let it destroy me.  I so wish his pain had not stolen his joy, and consumed his spirit. The tragedy of it all is so heavy and so hard. I will see you again Tim! I will always love you~ Holly 7/22/24

Creekwood shenanigans (Weekend at Bernie’s) — with Tim and Ginger and Bernie
I met Tim, as one of the "Army guys" who commuted either the Yakima Firing Center or JBLM to our church singles' group every Friday.  The funny, bubbly, one that (as others have already mentioned) is an amazing singer (forever he will be singing).  My first night at ACTS, he and Kathy made me feel welcome and included to the group, inviting me to miniature golf with everyone after the meeting.  When the group went white water rafting (a big adventure for me as a non swimmer), he was at the bow of the boat, riding the rapids like he was on a bucking bronco, belting out a song, "I wanna be buried alive in that living water!" smiling and cracking us all up.  Tim, thank you for helping to include me into the group and becoming and instant friend.
John, your dad loved you so much.  You remain the best thing to come out of our marriage.  No regrets.  I have loved him, and he will always have my gratitude for the gift of you he gave me.
Tim had the ability to really make you feel seen and heard. He was truly present when he would talk to you. I learned that from him. To give your full attention to the person you were spending time with or in a conversation with; don't allow your mind to wander. Don't be thinking of what your response should be. Don't be worried about missing some other engagement etc but be...truly...present. He unknowingly taught me many lessons like that. He allowed you to truly be yourself, unapologetically.  He himself was quirky, intelligent, deeply feeling and a genuinely funny human being. He cherished those qualities in others as well. You will be missed dear sir. You were and are, one of the greats. Sending comfort and prayers to all those that love you. In times of grief, may we hold on to the love and wisdom you shared with us all.
Eternally loved, never forgotten and always cherished.
I had/have the funniest brother you could meet. And y’all are right , he can sing. He sang alot in late teens and early twenties. I miss him, . When we spoke on the phone we laughed almost the entire call about life in general. I wish he were here. And I love you John, and pray you have strength and all the support you need.

I will always feel honored having the opportunity to sing with Tim. He and I had voices that blended so well. Tears in my eyes thinking of our last time singing together.

Praying big, BIG prayers for the family!

I remember our Davis and Santana ‘family’ Thanksgivings in VA. Lots of food, lots of laughs, lots of good conversation as we hung out and watched our children play together. Tim could always liven up a room. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss.
I know l'm not the only one to say this...but I loved to hear him sing. Whether it was in the back of the church, walking through the hall, or doing anything. I often heard him belting out a verse or two.
