Timothy Cooper, 62, of Berlin, MD, passed away on February 21, 2023. Timothy was born on July 20, 1960 to Dorothy and Leroy Cooper in Baltimore. After graduating from Woodlawn High in 1978, he went on to study Business Management at Towson University where he met his wife Joan Drescher Cooper.  

Tim was the proud father of Ted, James, and Rebecca Cooper and  grandfather to Freddy, Jacob, Grady, Ellie, and Josie Cooper. He was a loving brother to his sisters Judy Krauss and Karen Jeffries. He was predeceased by his brother Bob Grayson.  

Tim’s  first jobs were in Ocean City, MD at the Seafarer Hotel and the First Street Market as his family spent every summer at the resort. He loved fishing, swimming, and bowling. Tim worked at stereo stores in Baltimore such as Lafayette and Stansbury Stereo which was later Bryn Mawr. He was an estimator for Joseph’s Refinishing of Columbia, Md for 10 years. After moving to Ocean Pines in 2006, Tim volunteered at Showell Elementary, worked for Lighthouse Sound Golf, Ocean Pines Golf, and in the last year, Assateague National Seashore. He was a talented painter, guitarist, and songwriter.
