Timothy's obituary
Timothy Theodore Chambers passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Honey Grove, Texas. He was born on April 27, 1979, in Sherman, Texas, to James L. Chambers and Connie Faye (Clark) Chambers.
Timothy worked in construction and remodeling, where his skill and creativity allowed him to build nearly anything. He was also a talented artist who expressed himself through his craft. Timothy had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing at Bonham Lake, hiking trails in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. He cherished playing basketball with Larry T., spending time with his beloved dog Kangaroo Jed, and cooking and grilling—especially experimenting with hot peppers like ghost peppers, which he loved for their intense heat.
Known affectionately by many nicknames—Timbo, Timafee, Tirm, Timmy, and Timothy Theodore when his mother was upset—he brought humor and mischief to those around him. As a child, he delighted in teasing his sister Jessica by hiding locusts in her hair or placing grass snakes and frogs in her dresser drawers. Despite his playful nature, Timothy had a tender heart and cared deeply for his loved ones. He devoted himself to caring for his mother during her illness with unwavering compassion.
Timothy is preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents Rufus and Juanita Clark; and paternal grandparents Warren and Willie Mae Chambers. He is survived by his wife Amanda; sons Trevor, Tyler, and Larry T.; sister Jessica Chambers; nieces Kiran Chambers (Lyric), Hailey Hicks (Justin) and Madie Smith (Zach); nephew Logan Warren (Miranda); great-nieces Emerie Hicks and Maybree Warren; and great-nephews Asher Hicks, Colton Hicks, Cayden Warren, and Chevy Warren.
There is no service scheduled at this time. May Timothy’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
