Tim's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Timothy "Tim" Boyd, who was born on May 18, 1951, and left this world on May 26, 2023. Tim was a cherished member of his family and the community and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Tim is survived by his loving brothers, Tony Boyd, Tommy and LaNae Boyd, and Terrell Boyd. He also leaves behind his Aunt, Mary Dean Blankenship, and his cousins, Alan (Jeannie) Boyd, Mark (Lynn) Boyd, Harry Cook, Gary Cook, and Frankie Cook. Tim was predeceased by his father, Rayford Boyd, mother, Betty Jean Cook Boyd, and sister, Pebbles Boyd.

A Celebration of Life for Tim will be held on June 24, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Butts County Parks & Recreation. Tim was an active attendee of Second Baptist Church, and his faith was an essential part of his life.

Tim was an enthusiastic fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. His favorite local spot was the ballpark, where he spent countless hours umpiring and making lasting memories.

Those who knew Tim will remember him for his teasing nature and his ability to bring laughter and light-heartedness to any situation. His presence at the ballpark and in the lives of his friends and family will be sorely missed.

In honor of Tim's memory, we encourage you to cherish the moments spent with loved ones and to keep his spirit alive in your hearts.
