Tim was such a good friend to me. I meet Tim when I started work at Spinnaker’s in the Augusta Mall. No matter how bad your day was Tim could always make you smile. I have so many fond memories of Tim and Alex. One time I was able to trick Tim and Alex into thinking that the chalk pit by my house had warm water in it year round. It was early March and I jumped in first to prove to them it wasn’t cold. It was freezing but I held my composure. As soon as Tim and Alex took that leap of faith I screamed it’s cold. The look on their face mid jump was priceless. Good times. Rest in peace Tim.
Rest well, Tim. You, Alex and I had a blast back there in the late 90s..........I met Alex and Tim around September of 98. We all 3 worked at the same restaurant in the Augusta Mall. I ended up moving into Tim's apartment with him. We both shared a love of music, and Tim and I spent many late nights after work drinking beer and listening to music, and playing cards. Tim was such a nice, decent guy, and he and I also shared a very silly , almost childlike, sense of humor.  In early 1999, I ended up renting my own apartment, closer to the mall we worked in. Tim, and Alex soon moved in with me and lived with me till mid summer of 1999. They both ended up with jobs at other restaurants, but we still hung out frequently until the end of 2000. Its common among restaurant employees to be fast friends for several months, upwards of a couple years, then suddenly part ways into other adventures. I lost touch with Tim and Alex up to the dawn of social media. Heck I had no idea they were even still living in the Augusta GA area. I ended up speaking to Alex on the phone one night just after Christmas of 2018 for over an hour. I ended up moving to Michigan and never heard from either of them, until  I saw that Alex had passed in April of 2020, and in early may of 2020, I got a call on FB messenger one night from Tim. He was very distraught over his brothers death, but we still laughed at some of our antics back in the late 90s. We talked for over 2 hours, on a rainy friday night. He told me then he was likely heading to Ohio, and I begged him to get back in touch with me,I thought maybe with me living in Detroit, we could met up again. I never heard from him again. Be cool Tim, you were a good guy, and a good friend at one point in my life. (hard to believe the late 90s was almost 30 years ago). Hey Tim's and Alex's family, I never met any of you, but you have my best wishes and thoughts in the loss of Tim and Alex.
