It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Bercaw. Born on August 7th, 1950, Timothy lived an enriching life until his peaceful departure on February 21, 2025. He will be greatly remembered for his warm and witty personality that never failed to light up a room.

Timothy leaves behind an enduring legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire those who knew him. His children, Christie and Daniel Bercaw, carry on his life’s lessons and teachings. His beloved granddaughters, Nicole Montgomery and Meagan Harris, hold cherished memories of their grandfather’s loving guidance. His brother Ryan Bercaw and sister Karleen Valentine, join the rest of the family in mourning the loss of their beloved sibling.

Having had a deep affinity for Alabama, particularly its football scene, Timothy relished the camaraderie and thrill that came with being an enthusiast. His love for the outdoors was equally notable, with fishing and hunting being his preferred recreational activities. Steak and potatoes were his favorite foods, often paired with an ice-cold beer, signaling the start of many warm family gatherings and joyous celebrations.

Timothy's jovial nature and genuine kindness reached far beyond his family circle. He never shied away from imparting his wisdom to others and often reminded those around him that "Life's a garden, so dig it." This philosophy, paired with his innate sense of humor, endeared him to many.
