Tia was like a big sister to me. A sister I could never get enough of. I lived with the Payne’s many times throughout my childhood and adolescence and I was blessed to witness from early on Tia’s commitment to family and loyalty to loved ones. I also can recall many moments of obvious regard, respect, honor and care for her parents. In my brain are etched Tia’s face in response to many unconventional circumstances. I recall this with pleasure and pain. I cherish her authenticity and attempts to avoid conflict. And I miss her. I miss her whole family. My prayers are now for her husband and children who now have to endure life without her every single day. 💜💜💜

Tia and I met at the dance studio in 2008, and we became instant friends, as did our daughters. We have shared so many memories, laughs and tears over the years. Our families became one. We will miss Tia so much, but you will not get rid of us. We are still family. Love you guys.
