Graveside services for Thurman Lucian “T.L.” Pope, Jr., age 76, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in West View Cemetery with Rev. Andy Yates officiating.

Mr. Pope was born on January 1, 1947, in Wrightsville, Georgia and was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from Imerys Clays Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Ermie Stewart Pope, Sr. Mr. Pope passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, after an extended illness.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn R. Pope of Wrightsville; 2 daughters, Kimberly Snider (Mark) of Tennille and Kelli Carter (Eddie) of Sandersville; 2 sisters, Thelma P. Bolt of Rome and Betty P. Hicks of Forsyth; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
