On behalf of myself and my family, we want to specially extend our heartfelt condolence to Dr. Mrs Cecilia Omoboye and the children Pastor Omoboye left behind and all the siblings. After his wedding in Nigeria, we never met again until 2012 during the Annual Convention at Irvington NJ. We sat down and sall as brothers and he took time off his commitments at the program to pray with me. Since then, we talk often, share together especially regarding the DLBC in our hometown. We were both committed to the affairs of our hometown as well through our North America Branch. While this death pains me, I take solace in the scriptures that heaven has gained a soul.
I am also persuaded that God will strengthen the wife for the tasks ahead for the children welfare which we all will be involved going forward.
Rest well after you have fought a good fight and win the crown. It is well!

What?????
Jeeeessuuussss!
What a shock 😮 😲
It is with a heavy heart that I received this shocking news of the passing of my dear friend and brother, Pastor Odun Omoboye.
As I put these few lines together, hot tears flowing down uncontrollably through my cheeks, I had a rememberancer of our lives and how we started the journey together in September 1975 in Ifaki Grammar School (IGS), Class One 'A'. How we suffered poverty as evidenced in torn school uniforms, more often without footwear and pants without the elastic to hold it. How we served our punishments together in the scorching sun for noise making or similar indiscipline as young students. I recalled how we now became adults, living dignified and responsible life. And more importantly, how we became servants of the Lord, exchanging hymns and Christian melodies. We would throw tantrums and exchange world views till midnight, in deep Ekiti dialect. Our last conversation was on December 11th and that was all. The end!
Though deeply pained, we take solace in the Lord, knowing that we are all debtors to death and that our times are in God’s hands.
Odun lived a life of sincere faith. He truly served God and depended on Him wholly to the very end. This testimony gives us comfort that he has gone to rest in the bosom of his Maker.
We mourn, yet not as those without hope. May the Lord console his family and all of us, especially the 1980 Set, and those who loved him.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Rev'd Rotimi Osho

My beloved brother, friend, adviser, I will greatly miss you. You’re a rare gem. You called me too often to check on me, my family, and ministry. I have already started to miss the quiet , reassuring, and calm voice that will call me on weekends to discuss, plan and passionately planning to support our brethren on the mission field without publicity. Though you did not go as missionary, your heart cry, secretly advocating to financially support the work of God was motivating and inspiring. The painful thing to me was that when I called and we spoke two weeks ago, you reassured me all will be well in your usual calmness. You did not live me with a clue that this is it. Well, I have come to term that our Master recalled you from this battle field to get much desired rest. And so I submit, Lord thy will be done. Adieu my beloved. Take your rest on the Master’s bosom. Seee you on that glorious day when we shall have received ours summons, or at the last Trump. Rest on beloved. God will take care of the family. He is able to Keep what you have committed unto His hands and care against that day. Rest on
