How you can help
In lieu of flowers, Thompson's family requests that a charitable donation be made to benefit the local Catholic Church in Old Harbour where he attended during his time in Jamaica with his family. Sacred Heart Church started as a quaint wooden building at Main and Patrick Streets. In 1977, Thompson and Alice his wife were leaders in the building fund that enabled a new larger church and preparatory school to be built on a large property at Stelton Drive in Old Harbour.
