MY wife and I would like to start an annual Tommy Youngblood Customs Restorations Memorial Trophy at Thunder on the Mountain. In 2015, within days of the Youngblood's team completing a nearly two-year restoration of my 1957 Ford Thunderbird -- E Bird, Tommy and I took her to Thunder on the Mountain. She took Best in her Class. Then she won Best of Show out of some 300 cars. Tommy set up a corner of his shop for awards and newspaper clippings of the Little Bird. After she won an award, I would duplicate that award for Tom and his team. With your approval, Adrienne, I will contact the Tehachapi Chamber and set this up for 2022 and each year thereafter. I know Tom will be watching. RIP good buddy.

I met Tom when we were looking for someone to restore our  1967 Jeepster. Through out the entire process Tom kept us completely informed, allowing me to come up to his shop and ask questions and view the rebuild process. I was trying to learn how to restore vehicles and Tom was  always willing to answer my questions, volunteer information and offer his time to help me out.  Tom you will be greatly missed

I met Tommy at a car show in Rosamond. I was admiring his gorgeous truck. Tommy and I got to talking. I mentioned my 1957 Ford Thunderbird, E Bird that needed to be restored. Tommy and his team did the unbelievable restoration. It won Best of Show at Thunder on the Mountain in 2015. Tommy was with us in  San Diego when she won a gold award and missed a gold medallion by 1/2 point in the Concours. In 2019, Tommy was in Flagstaff with us for the Bird's second concourse.  She took the gold medallion.

Tommy and I became great friends. Tommy had a corner of his shop dedicated to that Bird. She'll always bring back memories of Tommy. Since we moved to Arizona three years ago, Tommy and I have kept in touch by phone occasionally. It was last week that my wife read about Tommy's death on Facebook. My very deepest sympathy. Tommy was, and always will be a class act. I won't look at the Bird or the awards she's won because of Tommy and his team's loving restoration. I will miss you dearly, Tommy. RIP, buddy. You will never be forgotten.

I love and miss you. I had no clue , your dynamics upon my life….. Assumed (my bad)  that you would be here long after me…… You gave me safety  and strength. Like I never knew. Feel lost without you here. A phenomenal father and person.  Your creative and amazing art will live on… I am so sad. My forever man……
Tom will be greatly missed.  He and his crew did a beautiful job on our 1965 Corvette
