Thomas's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Vorman, who left us peacefully on January 19, 2026. Born on April 14, 1954, he will be remembered as a wonderful friend and father.
Tom was known to enjoy the simple things in life including a bike ride with his dog, Max, and a good meal of one of his favorite foods- pizza, BBQ, or chicken pot pie.
Tom worked as a handyman, serving people throughout San Diego county for over 35 years. He took pride in his work, loved his customers, and loved doing things right. Many of his customers became close friends who appreciated his quality work and kind spirit. Always sporting a kind, caring, and helpful demeanor, he had an infectious positivity that radiated to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Tom is survived by his daughters who will always remember his deep love for them, as well as two grandsons. Tom is also survived by his sister and brother.
Tom’s unwavering optimism and gratitude have left an indelible mark on all those whose lives he touched. His favorite phrases, “It’s a beautiful day,” “I’m blessed,” and “life’s good,” will be remembered fondly by his friends and family.
Although he is no longer with us, Tom’s spirit continues to inspire us, reminding us to cherish every moment, to appreciate the good things, and most importantly, to remember that it's a beautiful day.
