My condolences to Yvonne & the rest of Vivo family. I had such fun memories of Tom- his sense of humor, humility, concern for the friends & their welfare, overly protective of his family!
A few years back, some sisters, Yvonne & I traveled out, Tom would call us twice each day to check on us to make sure we were safe & alright.
Just past June 2025, at the “Pure Worship” Regional Convention, I met Tom & Yvonne, we gave each other such big hugs, not realizing that would be the last time to see Tom, at least for now until the new World!.

Denise & I couldn't tell you how incredibly shocked we were at the news of Tom's passing. Tommy and I are from the same era in time. From the moment we met, we became life-long friends. Tommy's gift to all of us was that he truly cared for everyone he met. And so In solidarity, we share your great loss with you.
Of all the endearing aspects of Tom's presence was his ability to make you smile as he spun his stories and shared his 'chistes'. Even if he repeated himself, he made you look forward to the trip. Looking forward to hearing more of our friend's stories when we see him again among the righteous ones! John 5:25-29
No doubt in my mind that Tommy will be among the early ones in the resurrection to act as a greeter. I can't wait for him to tell me about how he found all that new 'pelo'! As with all of you, I'm looking forward to seeing our dear friend in the days ahead. Jehovah will not disappoint a single one! - Romans 10:11
In closing to you dear Yvonne, Bethany and family, we will continue to pray to Our Heavenly Father to bring you out from under the burden of your grief, as we wait on “the Father of tender mercies...and all comfort” to bring you relief from your great sorrow. - 2 Cor 1:3,4; Rev 21:3, 4

My sincere condolences to the Vivo family. I met Tom around 1976 when he conducted Watchtower studies with other young people. Those associations were encouraging as I was a spiritual orphan then. I would see him through out the years and I got to know him better when I joined the Allerton congregation in 2017. We spent time together walking, working on cars and of course the ministry. He was very understanding person. He’s sleeping and look forward to see him in earthly paradise.

My wife and I felt his passing. Tom was a special brother. I had the honor to introduce him to the truth. We work together at Benhil retail store. I told him where to find a kingdom hall, which he did. The rest is history. Became out dear brother. He will be missed, only for a little while. Can't wait to welcome him back in the new world. Our caring, genuine and comforting shepherd has gone to rest leaving us with wonderful, happy memories. His morning and afternoon news. His jokes and funny videos will always be remembered. He always put others first and we appreciate you for sharing him with us.
