I'm sorry to hear about your dear Husband Sister Yvonne,
His story was so touching to hear.
I didn't expect him to like Motown haha.
Please know you are in our prayers and we love you.

My husband Peter ended up in the hospital with a very high fever. He had them call Tom when he was delirious. Before they got him to his room Tom and two other elders were already there waiting for him.

So many stories to remember. One is how my husband and the Vivo’s took my kids upstate to give me a day off. The alternator on our car went bad on the way home. It was pouring rain the whole trip. My husband had to drive on the battery with no lights or wipers. Every 10 miles Tom and Peter had to take the battery out of our car, put it into Tom’s car to be recharged. Tom followed behind to make sure that Peter didn’t get hit in the rear without lights. My family safely made it home. WOW, what a family the Vivo’s are.

Dear Yvonne, Bethany, and Vivo Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Tom. My heart really goes out to all of you.
I’ll never forget when I first came to Allerton over 25+ years ago. I was a young adult, new to the area and to the congregation and really needed encouragement, and you and Tom welcomed me with such kindness. I still remember being invited to your home and how much fun we had. Tom’s warm smile and welcoming spirit made a big difference in my life, and I’ll always treasure that memory.
He will be deeply missed, but I take comfort in knowing that this isn’t the end. I look forward to welcoming him back in the new world, where we can enjoy that same joy and hospitality again.
Please know you’re in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you all my love.
With sympathy, Francis

My wife and I were deeply saddened to hear about Tom’s passing. Tom was always encouraging…never judgmental. This made him a joy to be around. His sense of humor brought a smile to our face. Death is truly an enemy because it robs us of so much. Yvonne…the spiritual treasures that you and Tom built up over the years set a fine example for all and this spiritual storehouse will see you through now, with Jehovah’s help. Our deepest sympathy to you, Bethany, and all members of the Vivo family. Our dear friend is now in the safest place possible…the memory of our loving Creator!
