Tom passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 due to complications related to Leukemia (ALL). Born Feb. 2, 1955 into a loving and hardworking Dutch family of Webster, NY, Tom was predeceased by his parents John and Lucille VanHall. He is survived by his rock, his soulmate, his wife, Cherilyn who was unwaveringly always by his side: daughter, Kaitlin (Shaan) Mathur of Seattle, WA; son, Patrick (Jenna Loomer) VanHall of Los Angeles, CA; step-son, Craig …

Per Tom's wishes - no services will be provided. His immediate family will have a small gathering to scatter his remains along the Canal Path in Fairport NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation on this site. The total will be split amongst his most revered charities and organizations - Fairport and Webster Lacrosse programs (where he played, coached and watched his children play the sport he loved), St. Benedict Catholic School (where his grandkids attend), and the Warrior Walk at U of R (where he participated as a survivor and where his family will participate in his memory).
