He was a sweet kid. My sons Jason and Jeff were his friends. Jeff left us before Tommy but Tommy would still come to see me when he was in the area.

As Tom's mom it's heart warming to hear the impact Tom had on the lives of others. He was a bear of a man with a heart of gold. Thanks for your remembrances every one. His last gift to me was a blanket that said basically know matter how far apart we live or how much time goes by he will always be my little boy. Well my little boy, I treasure this gift and call it my Tom blanket! You will always be in my heart but rest assured we will all do our part to keep an eye out for your wonderful family. Yes the dogs too!

My
I met tommy when i had to bring him my grandsons]. To babysit. They were so small and here was this huge guy looking like a deer in the headlights. He was terrified. I laughed and said :Dont worry Tommy the state of new jersey says we only have to keep them alive. He was still so nervous he said oh ok. I watched them grow up with him these last years and really rested easy knowing the boys and Freya were under his protection. He just made me laugh that wonderful smirk. His no take backs when i was pulling away with the boys. Thank you so much Tommy we were all in such a scary place without their grandfather but you stepped in and all was well. You rest now you have built them a village and we will always be there. Love you my friend

Tommy was more or less friends with my brothers before he became friends with me. He remembered me as a child when hanging out with my brothers growing up. When Kyle died, Tommy did not hesitate to step in and fill in the shoes Kyle left behind. Tommy was someone I could vent to, call up and just let everything out without judgement and guidance when needed. The grief I feel is overwhelming, as I feel like I lost a brother again. My heart is with his kids, his wife, and the rest of his family. Tommy was one of a kind, I’ll miss him dearly.

I met Tommy when I was going through a tough time and we were both trying to be independent and get our lives on track. We clicked instantly and felt like we had known eachother forever after just 1 date. He took me and my boys in like they were his own and we shared this tiny little apartment until we could afford to move into something more suitable.
He brought so much joy into our lives and taught my boys how to be men and take care of mommy. I'll always cherish the memories of him playing with the boys or just goofing around trying to embarrass me. He made me laugh so much and embraced my differences. Even bringing him to my favorite goth club, he immediately made friends with everyone even though he didn't like any of the music and wasn't used to that crowd. He really could get along with anyone and be best friends after knowing someone for an hour.
He touched so many hearts and it shows with all of the messages I have been receiving lately. I love you so much most Tommy and I get the boys for each of us at bedtime with our usual "Love you most, that's final, no takebacks!" Tommy came up with that and that will always be our thing.

Tom used to smoke two packs a day. I remember waking up in the middle of the night from his horrible coughing fits. One day he tried switching to vaping, and he finally quit smoking for good. Tom really got into it, and when Tom got behind something, he always went 110%. Tom even started his own vape shop. Since Tom passed, I've had several of his customers reach out to me, telling me that he got them to quit smoking, and that he had literally saved their lives.
