I had the privilege of first meeting Tom on the SE Mental Health crisis team about 40 years ago.  He was always a cool, calm head even in trying times. Aside from being a gifted musician, he was a talented raconteur. A couple of stories that didn't make his obit-Tom fell off Mt. Olympus. He got terrible medical care in Greece and was flown to Germany. I suspect his hip issues dated back to that fall from the Greek god's mountain. Although a gentle soul, he also got bounced around a bunch when he did judo, working out in a dojo favored by a rough biker crowd.
My dearest Tom, you will always always have a very special place in my heart. I will always treasure you and honor your life and your values and the amazing person you always were to all of us. Thank you for sharing part of your heart and life with me Lynn Johnson

I can't even begin to sum up the amazing memories I have of Tom from the almost 19 years I had the pleasure of knowing him, but something I will always carry with me is weekend pumpkin pancakes at the Tower household and being welcomed into his home like family any time I visited. It was such a blessing to have a second family right next to my own my entire childhood, and I will always be grateful for the time I had with him in my life!
