Thomas Michael Tarr, better known by his close friends and family as “T-Bone,” was called home on Friday night, the 10th of March 2023. He was born in Newport News, VA but always called Gloucester home. Where he loved to spend his days fishing with a friend down on the river, having a bonfire with his boys or simply catching a Redskins game on the couch at home. He loved the outdoors, and he loved his family. He was a landscaper by trade.

He leaves behind his parents, David W. Tarr and Nancy H. Tarr (Gloucester, VA), sister, L.J. Tarr (Williamsburg, VA), Godfather, Michael K. Dunning (Hayes, VA), paternal grandmother, Nancy C. Shorter (Newport News, VA), as well as numerous cousins, second-cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A Celebration of Thomas’ life will be announced privately at a later date, where family and friends will be welcome.
