I have a million and one wonderful stories about Mr.Tom. Stories of him when I was a kid at the pool or sleep overs at the house. Stories of him being the most AMAZING Pawpaw to my son! Man the knowledge he gave him!! They are so much alike with technology, somehow I think it gotta somehow be in the DNA! But I have a silly one that makes me think of him EVERYDAY. Not because he has passed. EVERYDAY for years! Whenever I was around him with his dog Jazmine, my Boxer Harley, Blue and Sheba, then came Breeze! Mr. Tom loved those pups! He was always was so adamant about cleaning their eye boogers. Yes I know a weird thing to say, but for 20+ years...I see them, I wipe them and I kiss their snoot. Just like he did. Because his story of why it was important stuck. It was love, and when I saw it, it was how I wanted to be. So I guess just wanted to share my story of his love and his big heart!

I have such great memories of Mardi Gras parades, crawfish boils, and the fishing camp with Mr. Tom when I was growing up. He let my friend Heather & I swim at the country club pool late into the night after it closed one night when we were kids and I thought it was the coolest thing ever to have it all to ourselves. He was a lot of fun. I know he’s having fun fishing & skydiving in heaven now. His was a life well-lived.
My thoughts and love to Ms. Pam, Kelly, Mary, Kerry, & their families.

I was very saddened to hear this and it brought back a rush of emotion to the happier times in our lives. Some of my best years and memories were spent with Tom at the camps and with our families at the Terrytown Pool. Tom was truly a unique person and friend and was extremely gifted when it came to knowledge of mechanical and engineering systems. May you rest in peace.
