On October 5, 2025, the world lost one of its brightest lights when Thomas “Shields” Fletcher Jr. passed away unexpectedly.
Shields was born on March 4, 2003, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, at Piedmont Medical Center, to his parents, Kristin Reese and Tom Fletcher.
Shortly after birth, Shields was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), becoming one of the first babies in the hospital’s NICU …
