What can I say, I just miss you! 💟

One of the best memories I have of my eldest brother, Thom (and he was the best Big Brother one could ask for!) was when we were in our early twenties I would say I was 21 and he was 22 (I had just turned 21) and I took a trip to California where he was living near our younger brother. Anyway he just was so much fun and so light-hearted and gregarious and generous and just a sweet, sweet human being. He took me out to eat he spent so much money on me and just bought me whatever I wanted, i.e., lottery tickets, cigarettes, food and snacks!! And he was just you know bestowing all these blessings on me and just making me so happy and putting his own needs aside--that's how he was; he was a giver, a sacrificer and he just made my trip so special and I feel so bad for his life and the things that he bore like losing a lot of friends to AIDS and also suicide. And the affliction of addiction that was so prevalent in his life, both indirectly and directly, I feel bad for; but anyway he tried so hard and struggled so much and from such a young age. No matter what-he always tried to be there for us and to show us how to live! And to know now that he's not in any more pain and that he's not suffering anymore makes me grateful...but I just miss him and I do love him so so so much and I will always love him immensely. ❤ May you REST IN PEACE BIG BROTHER 🙏

Thom was the first journalist I contacted as a whistleblower fourteen years ago. We kept in touch on and off ever since, connecting over stories of wrongdoing and injustice. His encouragement was instrumental in my continuing to work to expose corruption, and I'm so sorry I didn't learn of his passing until now. My condolences to his family and loved ones, and may his memory be a blessing to everyone.

Sending condolences and white light to Thom's family and friends. In the brief time that I knew him, I found him to be such an endearing, intelligent and good natured individual. He will truly be missed.

I was so saddened to hear about Thom. We met in high school and were friends ever since, through all of life’s ups and downs. He was very special to me.
