I knew Tom way back in the 90s when I lived in Oregon.  For some reason his smiling face popped into my mind the other day and i decided to look him up.   so sorry to hear he has passed.  I remember hanging out with him at the Oregon Country Fair.  He was always good for a laugh and a smile.

He will be missed very much by all of us solar guys. I had some good times at Country Fair with Tom and enjoyed teaching with him at LCC.
Unfortunately I have something scheduled for Saturday that I can't get out of or I would be there with you all.
My sympathies on your loss!
