Thomas Patterson, 73, of Waynesboro, PA , passed away at home on September 7th 2021. He was born on August 22nd 1948 to Harry D and Sarah Jane (Tressler) Patterson  in Gettysburg, PA.

  He graduated from Biglerville High School  in 1966.  After graduation he was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam war but was discharged honorably for a medical disability.  Tom worked  retail for many years at various locations in the grocery business , most recently at  Nells Shurfine Market  in Carlisle, PA and he grafted trees and picked apples for all the nurseries in Adams County Pennsylvania.

In September 1970  he married Linda(Woodring)Patterson and they had 3 wonderful children , Lisa Lynn (who sadly died from SIDS at only 6 weeks old), Lori Ann, and Thomas Eugene II. Tom and Linda lived and raised their children in a loving home in North Dickinson township, Carlisle for over 40 years before divorcing.  After the divorce Tom met his current girlfriend and love Victoria Butler. We were so happy he was able to find love again. They enjoyed music, dancing, and serving in their church.  They made each other very happy and were a match made in Heaven. She was a loving and faithful companion and was with him until the very end. 

 Tom was especially close to his daughter, Lori, her husband David Eugene Pritts , and their children Cameron Noel and Colten Thomas.  David was more than just a son in law. He was loved and treated as his SON and they were hunting buddies and partners in crime for many years.  Cameron and Colten were the light of his life and he  enjoyed spending time and goofing around with them. They will forever have so many memories of him and for that we are so grateful.   Lori (Sis to him)  has so many sweet and silly memories that she will always hold and treasure in her heart. 

    Tom was an avid Hunter but he also enjoyed fishing , shooting pool and music (especially country and bluegrass). 

Tom is survived by beloved girlfriend ,Vickie Butler, his daughter , Lori (Patterson) Pritts and her husband ,David E Pritts, his son, Thomas Eugene Patterson II and his wife, Corinna (Bailey) Patterson, his grandchildren,  Brittany and Tyler Patterson and Cameron and Colten Pritts, and siblings James L Patterson, Helen Weaver, Clara Kelly, Timothy Patterson, Donald Patterson, Rita Sullivan , and Anna Margaret (who sadly died as a baby) along with numerous nieces and nephews

50 S Broad St Waynesboro, PA

ON:  Monday September 13th at 11:00.     The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to the services. 

His final resting place will be Antietam Cemetery, Waynesboro
