So sorry to hear about Tom. I knew Tom through Kenny, and when we came up from KY to visit, he treated me the same as he would his best friend. I believe that says a lot about the kind of guy he was.  Actually , he reminded me of people from KY, very easy going. He once took me and Kenny, on his own dime(we were young and poor), to a Michigan game. It was honestly one of the cooler things I’ve ever done and we had a helluva time. I’m pretty sure he kept me from being detained by border security too after a long night in Windsor. Great memories. If I could go back, I would’ve came up and took Tom to a UM game.  Trish, if you read this I love ya and hope you’re doing okay. And thank you, because if not for you I would’ve never met Tom.  Even though he’s gone, the fact that I’ll always remember him, even though I only saw him 5-10 times in my life, says a lot about who he was. Rest in peace Tom, you were a great friend and person. Condolences to the family, who I know thought a lot of him

Dear family, my deepest sympathy for us all—we’ve lost a kind, generous, thoughtful and irreplaceable husband, son, brother, PeePaw, nephew and cousin.  I’m so grateful that as his aunt, I had Tom in my life in a special way:  I had the joy of meeting him when he came into this world, and the profound grief of seeing him leave it.  He was a very special man who I was very proud to call my nephew.  Although I’m blessed with a lifetime of wonderful memories, I’ll miss him terribly.  I’m hoping it will comfort us all to know how very much Tom loved us.

Family trip to U of M football home game! With Shelly, Reva, Gary, Tom, Sara and Owen. We rented a “party bus” to all ride together and took picture by the cube on campus.

So sorry to all his family and loved ones. He was always a pleasure to be around and joke with. I lost some points with him when I said the band Journey sucks…gained them back by quoting some movies though (and TPB show) Rest well Tom.
