Scott Moodie, a revered father, grandfather, and friend, died peacefully on February 14, 2026. Born on March 17, 1959, Scott lived a life enriched by love, adventure, and enduring family bonds.

Scott was predeceased by his beloved wife Brenda Moodie, an absence he felt deeply. He was the cherished son of Thomas and Rita Moodie, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his sister, JoEllen Renda.

He is survived by his devoted children - his daughter, Brittany Lantz, and son, Joshua Moodie. He held a special place in his heart for his son-in-law, Andrew Lantz, and daughter-in-law, Amber Moodie. Scott’s love for his family extended to his cherished granddaughters - Sydney and Madison Lantz, and Paislee and Oaklee Moodie. His greatest accomplishments and pride were his children and the beautiful family they built together.

An avid outdoorsman, Scott derived great joy from fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed scuba diving with family and friends, creating countless unforgettable memories below the water's surface. These activities brought him not only enjoyment but also serenity and a deep connection with nature.

Scott’s departure leaves a void that cannot be filled and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, resilience, and family unity will, however, continue to live through his children and granddaughters. In loving memory of a life lived fully, we express our deepest gratitude for the time we had with Thomas and the infinite ways he enriched our lives.
