How blessed we all were to have known Tom. I know he will be missed but his work on this earth is everlasting.

I was very sad when I heard the news of my dear Uncle Tom’s passing. Even though he married my Aunt Anne, it made me cry when he took her away to North Dakota. I was only 3 years old. As I grew older, I learned what a special man he was. He was one of wisdom and faith. I treasure the many conversations we had because my Uncle Tom always made me feel special and loved.
God Bless you Uncle Tom! May you Rest In Peace with your Heavenly Father.
There will always be a place in my heart for you. With love and admiration, Reet
My family has known The Merritts since the 60's when Mr.Merritt moved his family to Harrellsville,NC where I was born and raised. As neighbors,my sister and I were the same age as Tommy and Ben, so we all spent a lot of time playing together.Betty helped me through my Teenage
years Mr. and Mrs.Merritt were always so kind to me and welcomed me into their home any time.I have kept up with them and was sad to hear the news.My sympathy goes out to Mrs.Merritt,Betty,Tommy, and Ben,their spouses and their lovely extended families.
Love,Pam Evans
I am sorry to not have gotten to know Mr Merritt more intimately since we have only had contact over the last year or so, but I did want to thank him and his family for selflessly offering their property and hospitality for fellowship in the Lord. It is all so beautiful. Mr. Merritt was obviously a 'great' man, who has influenced and blessed many people. Our prayers are with Mrs Merritt and the family.
