Tom was very other-centered. If you were going through hardships in your own life, even though he was going through trials of his own, he always wanted to know how YOU were doing.

He was glad to help wherever needed. I remember he and Marybeth doing the music at my mother’s funeral.

And I will miss his witty sense of humor.
