I'm so sorry to hear about Tom. He was the nicest, friendliest man! He helped everyone! My family loved him. When we lived on the lake Tom was a great neighbor, always helping with our vehicles! Lol. He also had a great sense of humor! I know he'll be missed by everyone who knew him. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Barb, John, and I went to see Pink Floyd with Lynda and Tom. After the concert, we stayed to see the band load up on their bus. We followed them to their hotel, stood outside the hotel window and yelled, "Hey! Let us in!" Or something like that. Sure enough, someone leaned out a window and said we could come up. Tom wouldn't let Lynda go, but Barb and I went up. When whoever it was let us in the hotel room, we didn't know what to do! We were so naive and YOUNG! They were involved with the band somehow, but I don't think any of them were the major players. Anyway, we didn't stay long. They realized how young and naive we were. I don't even remember what we said to them - if anything. I just remember standing there for awhile, feeling awkward, then leaving. I completely forgot about this experience until about 20 years later when it came up on a Thanksgiving Day at Lynda's house. Someone was talking about it and I started asking questions. Then Lynda turned to me and said, "You were there!" I answered, "Really? I was there?" Then, slowly it all came back to me. Tom was the brave one, always willing to try something just for the sake of it. He sure was fun, and what a sense of humor. I also remember hanging out at the airport with him and Lynda, people watching with a jug of Tequila Sunrises. Just because.

I am so sorry for your loss, we were wondering why we hadn't seen him working in the yard as he would do every day. He was always a pleasant neighbor talking to everyone as they walked by.
