TJ's obituary
With profound grief, we announce the passing of Thomas "TJ" King, who departed from this life on June 6, 2022. Born on July 18, 2001, TJ was a beacon of wit, resilience, and tenacity. His zest for life, the ability to appreciate the small things, and sheer determination to strive for what he set his mind to, inspired all those who had the privilege to know him.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his mother, Carrie King; his father, Trey King; and his sister, Amanda King. His loving grandmother, Francine Lindor, also mourns his loss. He was predeceased by his grandparents Edward Lindor, Rich King, and Taliah King, as well as his dear brother, Jessie King.
A proud graduate of Escanaba High School, Michigan in 2019, TJ carried forward his hardworking spirit into his personal life. At an age when most kids were playing video games, he was busy buying his first car at just eleven, an accomplishment he always held dear.
TJ had a vibrant personality that extended to his diverse interests. A devotee of Mötley Crüe, he found joy in the sounds of their music. He was not just a fan of The Vikings and The Red Socks sports teams, but a fervent supporter. His favorite recreational activities included everything that involved his 2012 Lexus LFA, a symbol of his passion for speed and adventure.
An ardent pizza lover, TJ relished pairing his meals with Monster, his preferred beverage. His movie choices mirrored his love for speed and thrill, particularly The Fast And The Furious series. His favorite color being wine red, reflected his rich and vibrant nature.
TJ left an indelible mark in our hearts with his wit and wisdom. His mantra, "You can do anything you set your mind to," will continue to encourage us. His legacy would be remembered as a thrilling adventure - going 140 mph on a highway without getting caught - a testament to the free spirit he was.
May his soul rest in peace as he embarks on a new journey. He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever be present in our hearts.
