Thomas's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Johnson, who left this world on March 1, 2023. Born on June 16, 1944, Thomas lived a life marked by strength, independence, and deep devotion to his family and faith.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Ida Johnson, and their children Traci Davis, Donovan Davis, Thomas Johnson, Tonia Johnson, and Timothy Johnson. He was a proud and dedicated grandfather to Caleb Davis, Jacob Ray, Grace Davis, and Kaelyn Davis. The strong bonds of family extended to his sister Joyce Johnson and brother Charlie Johnson, who are among the many lives he touched during his time with us.

A devout attendee of Sagemont Church, Thomas's relationship with his faith and God was the cornerstone of his life. He was a caring, family-oriented, God-fearing, selfless, loving, and goal-oriented individual who inspired those around him.

Thomas leaves behind a powerful legacy of love and service, teaching others to treat people how they would want to be treated and to love their enemies as God has loved them. His impact will be felt by the generations of God-fearing warriors who share his values of selflessness and determination to achieve their goals.

As we mourn the loss of Thomas, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the love he shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in our hearts, and his teachings will continue to guide and inspire us for years to come. Rest in peace, Thomas Johnson, and thank you for the gifts of love, faith, and strength that you shared with us all.
