Thomas's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Wayne Inger, who left us on March 6, 2025.
Born on Valentine's Day in 1943, Thomas led a life full of love and integrity, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Thomas was predeceased by his mother, Bernice Inger, and his father, Thomas A. Inger. He leaves behind his loving children, Keri Frohriep and Wayne Inger, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Raynal, Olivia Raynal & Zachary Inger, and great grandson Adrian Raynal. His bright spirit will continue to shine through his family, who vow to honor his memory in their own lives.
A respected graduate of Wayne State University, Thomas carried his education beyond classroom walls and was a valuable employee at Chrysler Corporation, Elias Brothers/Big Boy, etc. His favorite pastimes included watching sports on TV, specifically the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and Michigan Wolverines. Thomas enjoyed playing card games with the love of his life, Eunice Marshall, his mom and family...showcasing his strategic mind and competitive spirit.
Thomas was known for his love of Chinese food from his favorite local spot, Gim Ling's. He enjoyed simple pleasures like White Castle sliders, Taco Bell tacos, Diet Pepsi and the timeless music of The Beatles. His physical vitality was evident in his love for walking, golfing, etc. In his younger years, Thomas was an excellent high school athlete, participating in baseball, football and basketball.
His personality was marked by intelligence, honesty and quirky sense of humor. A true advocate of integrity, Thomas believed in genuine honesty and staying true to one's beliefs. This made a profound impact on his family, friends and even his pets, whom he deeply cared for.
Thomas will be remembered most for his legacy of gentleness, truth and reliability. He was a beacon of wisdom and humility, beloved by all who took the time to know him. His life was a testament to his undeniable resilience, courage and his unwavering belief in the power of honesty.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Thomas will be held on March 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (Clinton Township), where we will pay our respects and share our memories of a man who touched so many lives in profound ways.
