Tom's obituary
In Loving Memory of Thomas Richard Heil
Sunrise: September 10, 1954 – Sunset: June 24, 2025
Thomas Richard Heil, age 70, of Beebe, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2025, after a period of declining health. He passed peacefully in hospice care, holding fast to his faith in Jesus Christ and the hope of eternal life.
Tom was a hardworking man whose generosity and integrity left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Whether in his profession as a respected Carpenter or in his role as a leader and mentor, he was known for his honesty, strength, and steady character. He gave his best in all he did and carried a quiet wisdom that others sought and trusted. Tom did not overlook a chance to plant a seed, be a light, or share the goodness of the Lord Jesus in those whose paths were blessed to cross his. Tom never knew a stranger and joyfully lived for opportunities to share the love of Christ with others by generously giving and supporting those who needed his support and a hand up in life.
He was a loving and devoted father to five children, and a proud grandfather whose joy was found in his family, even in the midst of life’s complexities. Though his children’s paths grew apart over time, his heart held a steadfast hope that healing and unity would one day come. In his final wishes, he expressed a deep desire for his five children to find peace with one another and to someday gather together to scatter his ashes from a quiet mountainside.
More than anything, Tom was a man of unwavering faith. He cherished God’s Word and lived with eternity in view. His life bore the fruit of a heart anchored in Christ—a man who looked forward with peace and confidence to the day he would be called home.
Tom is preceded in death by one sister and one brother-in-law, his father, and his beloved mother, and survived by his five cherished children and 14 beloved grandchildren, and three of his sisters and three brothers-in-law.
In honor of Tom, plant a plant and/or donate time or money to any Christian ministry who simply helps those who need it most.
