Thomas Gallo, 1949–2025

Westfield, MA – Thomas Gallo, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud U.S. Army veteran, passed away peacefully in 2025 at the age of 75.

Born in 1949, Thomas lived a life of quiet strength, deep commitment, and enduring love. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Korea, and carried his sense of duty and honor throughout his life.

Thomas is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Gallo; his loving children, Tina Yvon and her husband John, Phil Gallo, his wife Samantha, and Louis Gallo; and his treasured grandchildren, Lilly Gallo, Jonny Yvon, Emma Yvon, Leila Dube, and Marshall Gallo. His sister Kathy Taylor and brother in law Trent Taylor. 

He was a true outdoorsman, happiest when fishing at a peaceful lake or out in the woods during hunting season. But just as often, he was the source of laughter around the dinner table—his sharp wit and playful spirit brought lightness and joy to those lucky enough to know him. Whether it was a clever one-liner or a classic story told for the tenth time, Thomas had a way of making people smile.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his loyalty, his deep appreciation for nature, and the humor that made every moment with him memorable.

A memorial service will take place on June 3rd at 9:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a celebration of life with food at Rally’s Sports Bar, 119 Meadow Street, Westfield, MA.

Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’s memory to a veterans’ charity of your choice.
