Thomas Joseph Duran, “Tom”, was 56 years old when he departed this earth unexpectedly on September 18th, 2023. He was born on May 18, 1967 to Jose and Betty Ann Duran. Tom grew up in Denver, Colorado and had four brothers.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Duran of Denver, CO; brothers, Mike Prado (Theresa) of Alburquerque, NM; Duane Bryant (Rose) of Denver, CO; nephew, Kenneth (“Jr.”) Duran, Jr. of Denver, CO; niece, Crystal Duran of Denver, CO; and all grandparents.

He is survived by his father, Jose “Joe” Duran of Denver, CO; brothers, Kenneth “Ken” Duran, Sr. (Jana); and Edward Prado, Sr. both of Denver, CO; nieces and nephews, Joshua “Josh” Duran (Rebecca); April Duran; Selina Shafi (Eddie); Samantha Carrion (Ray) of Abilene, TX; Edward “Eddie” Prado, Jr. (Lissette Dominguez); Dalton Duran; Brody Duran; Alan Prado (Nadia); Jessica Villazana (Tony) of Denver, CO.

While his physical presence may be gone, his love, his laughter, and his memories will forever remain.

As we mourn Tom's untimely departure, we find solace in the belief that he has embarked on a new journey, one beyond our comprehension. In heaven, he will find eternal peace and happiness, looking down upon his family and friends with love and pride.

Tom touched the lives of many, and to all those who had the privilege of knowing him, his memory will forever be cherished. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Tom with love and gratitude for the precious time we had with him. May he rest in eternal peace, basking in the light of heaven’s embrace.

Let us join together in honoring the memory of Thomas "Tom" Duran, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, who now rests in the loving arms of heaven.
