Thomas R. Carmack, born into this world on April 28, 1952, returned to the fullness of the Lord on May 6, 2021. Tom will be remembered for his good nature and kindness to all he met. Enjoying the simple things in life, he had an especially great love for animals and nature, and he found joy in listening to all types of music, especially country. There wasn't a broke lawnmower that he didn't attempt to fix or a NASCAR race he wouldn't watch. Tom worked hard all his life and recently retired from 40 years as a furnace operator. He became more involved in his church life at St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Township, assisting where he could. He relished any time he could spend with his 10 grandkids and never passed up an opportunity to go out to breakfast.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Amy, who he married August 27, 2010; son Jeremy (Laura) Carmack; daughter Crystal (Andy Lynn) Carmack; stepdaughter Brandy Marter (Mark); stepson Kyle (Leah) Marter; grandchildren Zachariah, Ellie, Collin, Dillan, Kennedy, Jackson, Ford, Hayes, Norah, and one-on-the-way; sister Nancy (Earl) Gusa; Mary (Tom) (deceased) Mello; Betty (Tim) Warnecke; eight nieces and nephews; and many adopted pets, but especially Tico, his chihuahua.

Visitation is Saturday, June 5, 2021, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 24415 Crocker Blvd, Clinton Township, MI 48036, beginning at 10:30am until the time of the Resurrection Memorial Liturgy at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to: St. Vincent de Paul (St. Louis Catholic Church Chapter) or the Michigan Humane Society.
