Rev. Thomas “Tommy” Bell, age 63, of Murphy, entered heaven on June 16, 2020 at his home.

Born on November 19, 1956, Tommy was a son of the Nadine and the late Robert Bell and the brother of 2.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Renae Bell of the home, sons Paul “P-bo” Bell and wife Carla of Hayesville, Adam Bell and wife Bonnie of Robbinsville, a sister Lois Johnson and husband Ricky of Roanoke Island, NC, a brother, Joseph Bell and wife Edna of Murphy. There are also several grandchildren surviving.

The body will lie in state from 4 until 5 pm on June 19 at the Mortuary, the service will begin at 5 pm at the Mortuary. Burial will be held at the Serenity Hills Memorial Park in Chatsworth, GA. The Townson-Rose Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hillcrest Methodist Church where Tommy served as Senior Pastor.
