Thomas "Tom" Ivan Bartels was born on September 29th, 1951, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He passed on April 13th, 2023 in Coconut Creek, Florida.
Coming from a military family, Tom lived in many places but spent his teen years in Arvada, Colorado. After graduating high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. For four years during the Vietnam War, Tom sailed on the USS McCaffery as an Electronics Technician and Combat Information …
