Theron was a World War II Veterans and discharged under Honorable conditions. He was very active in his Church Liberty Hill Baptist Church, he served on the Board of Trustees, Men Choir, The Brotherhood starting the Hungry Ministries, Missionary Circle 11. Theron was in many Social Clubs, The Fortune's, The Lunch Bunch, Lots of Popus and a 32 Degree Mason with El Hasa Temple 28. He traveled , enjoyed playing cards, playing pool and entertaining family and friends. He also had a love of cars , Cadillacs, Lincolns, his 1954 Thunderbird and a Fiat that he barley fit into. He has a humorous side when it came to teaching one to swim, he would put you on his shoulder take you out in the water, and dropped you would sink or swim, but he was right there by your side so you live and learned. Theron called himself "Chef Extraordinaire" and his Bar-B-Que and sauce made you smack your lips, he made you laugh as he lit the grill with the biggest flame ever. Dad will truly be missed by all that knew him and that smile that would light up a room.
