I am saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie and Terry. I’ve known Terry since she was a young teacher at Cassell. We became good friends. The last time seeing Terry was at my son’s memorial service in April 2024. Little did I know it would be my last. You all have my deepest condolences.
Theresa was a shining star in the ARUSD. I worked with her for 24 years at Cassell. She was a leader in the school and a master teacher. I was the RSP teacher and we shared students. She was an excellent partner and I always felt confident in my student’s success with Mrs. Renteria as the general ed teacher. Over the years, we became friends. I will miss her. I’m so sorry, I can’t attend the memorial.
For 20 years, Theresa and I taught together at Cassell. She was someone I admired and was a mentor when I first started teaching there. As the years went on, we became great friends, venting when the days were stressful, or sharing stories about our families. We always thought our moms would have been good friends. Our lunch time chats were always filled with laughter. We had some really good times, that made our job ,which was at times very stressful, much easier and more fun. I have many great memories that will I will always hold in my heart. Rest in Peace my friend. I will never forget you.
Some people shine too brightly to ever be forgotten. Terri was always one of my favorite; I admired her for her strong beliefs and devotion to her students at Cassell. She will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully angel!
