I worked with Theresa and we became friends. I could always count on her on the job and as a friend to lend an ear when things got tough. I'd like to think I was there for her in return. She was a precious diamond in the rough meaning she didn't take crap from anyone on the outside and had a heart of gold on the inside. This woman would give you the last shirt off her back. She will be missed and my heart is heavy from this loss of a good woman, mother, grandmother, daughter, wife and good friend. Until we meet up again my friend all is good and you are in a good place with the man above. All the Best DZ

Mom, I just want to say that I miss you and love you. I wish Laurel could have been around to experience all the love that you gave all of us. You are the rock that saved me from one of my most darkest moments years back. I want to thank you for being there for all the good and bad times in my life and I wish I could've been there more then I was.

One on my many memories about Theresa is she would text at random times of the day and say, "Send Makayla over, I have something for her." I would go in and wake my daughter up at 8 in the morning on a weekend and say, "you need to go to Theresa's she has something for you." After all the fuss she would get her shoes on, not knowing if she wanted to walk the street with all the crazy traffic or deal with the thorns and bushes between our yards. Once she got there she would come running home with some sort of a treat, usually candy or sweets that Theresa really wasn't supposed to have to begin with. Makayla always called her her BFF.

My brother called in 1991 after a period of time where he was not communicating with family. He said, "I met a woman....." And the rest was history. He loved her dearly and she was patient and loving with him and changed his life for the better.
I will remember her dancing with him, sitting on the porch complaining about the speeders on Timberline, loving on her family, her beautiful eyes and smile. And her Louisiana accent and strong personality! We will remember you fondly and miss you already.
