Theresa and I went to San Antonio for a day care conference. We dropped our bags at the hotel. Drove to the parking garage. When we exited the garage we went the wrong direction. We walked for about 3 hours. We ended up at the Alamo. We finally made it back to the hotel just before they sent someone to try and find us. Lol

It's Kate again. I love my grandma. We are so lucky to have had her in our lives. She was my grandma, sometimes my mom and my friend. She was fun to hang out with. She was selfless, her and I talked a lot about how we could help others. Her being more selfless than me dragging me along. 😄 . But I got the picture. Help others. Thank you grandma. 😍
Hello. It's Kate (grandma always called me Kate, but I guess I'm Katie too). Theresa's oldest grandchild. I was told to think of a memory to share...well. My husband Bill gave my cousin Joseph a sword, so grandma and Joseph threw fruit at each other and sliced it up with the sword. Thankfully I do have video. Thank you to whoever (prob Aunt Eileen) videoed it.

Mom was so many things to so many people that words cannot express what a wonderful person she was.  I will miss her with all my heart.

Theresa was a light that shined brightly in this world.   She had such a beautiful spirit that made you want to be better.  She was such a wonderful friend to my sister Helen and she was always there when any one in our family went through hard/sad times.  We all loved her dearly in our family and she will always live in our hearts.  It is with great confidence that I say that she is now in Jesus' loving arms.

In March, 1976, Doug and I moved to "Vern Woods Apartments" in Spring Branch.  On arrival, we made friends with John and Theresa Coffey.  I met the big sister I always wanted.  Theresa was a comfort and support to me as a young mother.  My children would call her "Aunt".  We've been through highs and lows,  ever since.  No one even in my own family could mean more to me than Terry.
