Theresa (Finn)Chavez of Laporte, Colorado, passed away on November 27th, 2024, at the age of 65. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Michael Chavez exactly 25 years to the day. Born on July 6th, 1959, Theresa was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, beloved sister and a cherished friend to all who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her four children: Joseph (Nina), Jeffery, Rose (Peter), and Christina (Cade), as well as her four grandchildren: Michael, Liam, Alexandria, and Petey; Siblings, Liz Cordova & Michael Finn. She held her grandchildren close to her heart, and they were the center of her world. Theresa's love for her family was boundless, and her home was always filled with warmth and laughter.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Theresa loved cooking and was often the life of any gathering. Her infectious energy and sense of humor brightened every room she entered. She had a knack for making people feel special, and her kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.

A celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at a later date.

Theresa’s love, laughter, and warmth will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
