Mrs. Thera Lumpkin Ellington, age 95, of 1529 Wax Road, Silver Creek, Georgia, passed away on Saturday morning, June 18, 2011, in a local hospital.
A native of Floyd County, Georgia, Mrs. Ellington was born on May 10th, 1916, the daughter of the late Roy Lee Lumpkin and the late Placcie Formby Lumpkin. She had spent her entire life in Floyd County and was a member of the Wax Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement …
