Theodore (Ted)'s obituary
June 22, 1947 - May 28, 2018
Ted was born to Michael and Anne Pustey in Saskatoon
Saskatchewan in the summer of 1947 and he was their only child.
After completing high school and a year of engineering at
University, he met and married Linda at the young age of 19.
While starting a family, they relocated to Vancouver for Ted's job,
then to Edmonton where he spent many years working for NAIT,
until his retirement.
Deciding to make another leap, Ted and Linda retired out to
Nanaimo, BC in 2013, where his love of trees, plants and gardening
truly "blossomed". Ted could often be found fixing, inventing or
improving things around him. His meticulous nature lead him to
create order and organization beyond the norm in almost
everything he touched.
He served in various positions in the church throughout the years including choir, discipline leader, treasurer, and even an inspiring sermon on occasion.
His love of music lead him to teach himself several different instruments; the banjo, accordion and piano among others.
Above all, his love for the Lord shone through. His joy often came
out during worship - being the only person clapping to the music
in the congregation.
Ted went peacefully to the Lord on May 28th,2018 with his wife
Linda by his side.
He leaves behind his mother Anne, wife Linda (Dobson),
their 3 children Maleesa (Warren) Wulff, Thebin Pustey, Donelle
(Casey) Hadley, 9 grandchildren, Vincent Wulff, Shandhi Wulff, Vaughan Wulff, Vairden Wulff, Aiden Pustey, Jacob Pustey, Amelia Hadley, Maren Hadley, Claudia Hadley, and 3 great-grandchildren, Harper Gray, Michaella Alvey, and Beckett Janes.
Memorial Service was held in Nanaimo, BC on June 21st, 2018.
You will be forever in our Hearts Dad.
