My girls and I have loved seeing Ted over the years on our way to Mason. Such a kind and fun man. We will miss him!
My sincerest condolences to our neighbors on Lochmoor.  Ted's presence will very much be missed by the McIntyre family!  He was always so warm and friendly and positive, whether it was chatting in front of the house or dropping off one of the twins at the GPW park to lifeguard.  The way he interacted with everyone is something we should all aspire to!  What a blessing to have known him!
Our sincerest condolences. Ted crossed our kids and was always so kind to all of them. I also knew him from Barnes & Noble, and we had several lovely chats when he applied for a vacated seat on the Board of Education. He was a Kind Soul and he will be missed.

We met Ted as he crossed our children their entire school career.  The kids called him “Mr Cornpops”. He was always positive and never failed to say hello.  The corner of Mack and Vernier won’t be the same without Ted on duty
He was a very kind and gentle person! I remember him walking every day in the morning ... he was always very nice and happy.  He was a very dedicated to his job, which was helping to keep the kids safe.  He always had a smile on his face and was ready to greet you.  He would show up to work rain or shine ready to help out in any way that he could.  May his soul rest in peace.  Prayers go out his family and loved ones.  In sympathy, the Izzard Family

We got to know Ted as a crossing guard for Mason and Parcells. He was a daily presence in my children’s lives for the past six years. He greeted them each (and SO many others) by name, gave them a smile and a conversation to start their day. He has always made me think of  the Sesame Street song “These are the people in your neighborhood!” My kids loved seeing him all over town, at Ghesquiere, the Woods Park, or just walking with his loving wife and his dogs. He never missed an opportunity to say hello or ask how they were doing.

He watched over my kids and for that I am forever grateful. We all miss him dearly. Cheerio Ted!

With Love, the family of Team Awesome

I had the great privilege of making friends with Ted while working with him at LFP and GPW Crossing. As I told  Kate, it's not always easy to make friends as we get older but I am so honored to have made one with Ted. I will miss him dearly. We always commiserated about our beloved Tigers. I still will.

Swing for the fences Ted!!!

Your friend,

Roger
