Theodora "Dee" Kobald, age 62, passed away November 30, 2022 after a brief illness.  She was born on September 10, 1960, in Chilliwack, BC.  Dee's early education took place in the lower mainland, while her later education was completed in the Netherlands, with a diploma in graphic design at Zwolle.

Celebration of her life was held Saturday December 3, 2022 at Theo's Greek Restaurant in Penticton, BC.  A private burial took place at Lakeview Cemetery in Osoyoos, BC on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Dee is survived by her son Nicholas Kobald of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and her husband Bruce MacLennan of Osoyoos, BC.  She is also survived by her brothers Peter, Paul, Michael and Theodore, as well as her sister Joanne.  She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Dee was predeceased by her parents and grandparents.

Dee was an artist and musician from a family of artists and musicians and she made many friends through her house painting business.

Dee left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, and her loss is profoundly felt.

Thanks to Dr. Bursey at Penticton Hospital as well as the staff and volunteers at the Moog Hospice, where she was compassionately cared for in her final weeks.
