After many years I look back to playing soccer with Theo and many other fellows on the school-ground in Alameda. Wonderful times! After that we'd meet occasionally on the bus to San Francisco and had pleasant chats and then off to work. Always a positive and pleasant man to know and look back to see his smile!

Wir sind traurig und erschüttert über Theos Tod. Wir erinnern uns gerne an unsere Besuche bei Euch in Danville. Wir hatten viele schöne und lustige Stunden gemeinsam mit Euch und Euren Freunden und haben Eure große Gastfreundschaft genossen. Wir erlebten Theo über all die Jahre unserer Freundschaft als humorvollen und vielseitig sportbegeisterten Freund.

Unser letztes Treffen in Deutschland mit Euch allen war sehr schön und bleibt uns in Erinnerung und wir hatten noch immer auf ein Wiedersehen gehofft.

Theos Tod ist ein großer Verlust und wir wünschen Euch viel Kraft, diese schwere Zeit zu bestehen.

Dear Christa, Tony and Eric,

I am so sorry for your loss, and so sorry and shocked to hear about Theo's passing. One is hardly ever prepared for it, but the suddenness must make it even more painful to accept. I hope that having been able to be by his side during his last journey, brings you comfort. May the many wonderful memories help you in your sorrow and comfort you in the time ahead.

Theo was the best striker on our Alameda United Soccer team for many years. Well- Al Garcia was also very good forward. Because of the talents of Theo and Al we managed to pull out couple hard fought championships in the East Bay Soccer league. Theo and I bonded through the love of the game that we both enjoyed plalying and watching.

I write these lines with a heart full of cherished memories we had during our lengthy friendship.

I am sorry that he was called Home so early but, I believe he is not sad because of his strong frienship with God. Keep scoring those goals up there my soccer buddy Theo K.
