Test's obituary
It is with profound solemnity that we announce the passing of Test "Joe" Proctor, affectionately known as Joe, but most preferred to be called Test. She left this mortal coil peacefully on November 21, 2023, almost four years after she was born on December 3, 2019.
Test was the embodiment of niceness, a beacon of kindness and warmth that never failed to brighten up every room she walked into. Her persona had an enchanting charm to it that was impossible to remain indifferent to. While she may not have verbalized any profound lessons for us to remember her by, her very existence was a lesson in congeniality and gentle compassion that will continue to inspire everyone who was fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
Among her numerous achievements, one that Test took particular pride in was her expertise in baking. Her pecan tarts were nothing short of culinary masterpieces. The delightful blend of flavors she managed to capture in each of her creations was a testament to her exceptional talent and will always remain a fond memory for everyone who had the good fortune to taste them.
What Test leaves behind in her wake is not just the memory of her delicious pecan tarts, it is much more profound and lasting than that. Her legacy, she would often quip, would be tacos. This humorous claim, in its distinctive way, beautifully encapsulates the essence of who Test was. It is a testament to her love for simplicity, her unique sense of humor, and her ability to find joy in the little things in life.
In her short time with us, Test managed to make an indelible mark on our hearts. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the wonderful life she led and the sweet memories she leaves behind. Her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts and in every taco we eat.
