Terrye's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sister Terrye Miller, a beacon of strength, love, and perseverance. She was born on the 13th of May, 1974, and left us on the 26th of February, 2025.
Sister Terrye is survived by her loving sister, Tina WashingtonDavis, who finds solace in the memories of Terrye's loving spirit. Terrye was a woman of boundless love and unyielding strength, whose personality touched everyone she encountered.
She was best known for her unwavering belief in the power of perseverance. One of her lasting lessons she often imparted was, "No matter what you have been through, never give up and don't let anything or anyone tell you that you can't do something because of your disability." This proactive and passionate approach toward life was evidenced in her own personal victories.
Among her many accomplishments, Terrye took immense pride in learning to walk on her prosthetics. It was a testament to her resilience, showcasing that when she set her mind to something, there was little that could deter her.
My sister Terrye had passed away due to brain bleeding caused by her blood pressure being extremely high from a stroke.
Sister Terrye Miller's legacy will be remembered not just for the barriers she broke, but for the hearts she warmed. She left a legacy of caring kindness and generosity that has marked the lives of many. She may be physically gone, but her spirit will be with us always and forever. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those fortunate enough to have known her.
Rest in peace, Sister Terrye Miller. Your strength and love will continue to shine in our hearts eternally.
